Welcome!
My name is LaShanna Strickland, and I have been a registered nurse for about 6 years. I started my career in the emergency department working in different code situations. Then I started working as a traveling nurse in the emergency department in different states. I became a BLS instructor to provide a resource for every person that wants an opportunity to receive cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training. I am committed to providing the surrounding communities with CPR skills that is safe, effective, and cost efficient. My goal for every class is to ensure my students is comfortable and confident with performing basic CPR by the end of the course.
Our mission is to increase basic CPR awareness and knowledge throughout the community. We are committed to ensuring that everyone we teach knows how to recognize a life threatening situation and is prepared to help save a life. Our team is devoted to making sure that students have the knowledge, confident, and skills required to deliver high-quality CPR.
We believe that if more people within our communities are trained in basic CPR, then survival rate will increase. Therefore, CPR training is essential for EVERYONE and is not just for healthcare workers. CPR is not about who you are; but is simply about what you know!
